Edward, a registered nurse, grew up struggling to please his demanding mother. Helpless and desperate, he was susceptible to do anything to meet his mother's expectations.
Things changed when his childhood friend Dianne, now an American citizen, flew back to the Philippines. Desperate to escape a poverty-stricken life for a gratifying job abroad, he finds himself undecided on leaving her girlfriend Kate to marry Dianne.

A good friend of mine, Thop Nazareno will compete in the 22nd CCP Independent Film & Video Competition this coming November 23-26. His masterpiece, K-1, will be screening on Nov. 25, 1:00 PM at the CCP Tanghalang Manuel Conde (Dream Theatre). Check out the trailer below
