Take a look at EA's revamped basketball title. From NBA Live to NBA Elite. A lot of changes in the gameplay and controls have been made and it seems like they're leaning towards a skill-based gameplay where you control everything. No "dice-roll" shots and forced animations which limits the player's movement. Also debuting on the cover of Elite is Mr. Durantula, Kevin Durant.
Looks pretty interesting IMO. Even though the 2K series was destroying the competition with the past few NBA titles, and the fact that Michael Jordan will cover NBA 2K11, I actually want to check this out and see for myself.
